My first style icon was my mom
Growing up, I was obsessed with her jewellery. Not diamonds or precious stones — bold, modern pieces that made a statement the moment she walked into a room. I'd spend hours dressing up in her things, pretending to be just as effortlessly stylish as she was.
That feeling never left me. As I got older, I wanted that same energy in my own wardrobe — jewellery that felt like me. But when I went looking for it, I couldn't find it. What was out there was either impossible to track down, or exactly what I didn't want: mass-produced, flimsy, and made with no real care for the person wearing it.
So I made it myself.

The market was full of cheap pieces that turned your skin green, fell apart after a few wears, or looked beautiful in photos but felt terrible in real life.
I wanted something different — Jewellery that was:
Bold enough to be noticed,
Durable enough to be worn every day, and
Safe enough for anyone to wear.
Meet Lesley & Pan - The Makers
I'm Lesley — the designer, the sketchbook, the one who wakes up thinking about shapes and colour.
My husband Pan brings the technical precision. His background means that what I dream up actually works — pieces that hold their form, keep their finish, and feel as good on day 100 as they did on day one.
We work out of Yorkshire, and every piece leaves our hands — not a factory floor. That matters to us. It means we stand behind every single thing we make.
